Tidal Memory came out of a season where everything in me was shifting, even the parts I swore were settled. As I painted, it felt like the past refused to stay quiet. It rose in waves, demanded to be seen, and pulled me straight into the deep end of my own story. The blues and greens are the undercurrent I used to avoid, and those streaks of white are the moments I finally stopped running. This piece is me admitting I remember, I’m done pretending I don’t, and I’m strong enough to meet the tide head-on.
